There are 3 ferry operators who offer a service to the Isle of Wight.
Hovertravel offer a passenger only service from Portsmouth / Southsea to Ryde taking only 10 minutes. This is the quickest way to "Fly" there.
Wight Link offers a car and passenger service from Portsmouth to Fishbourne and from Lymington to Yarmouth. They also have a Catamaran passenger only service from Portsmouth to Ryde
Red Funnel offers a car and passenger service from Southampton to East Cowes with the trip lasting just under 1 hour.

On the Island there is the Island Line and Isle of Wight Steam Railway
